My biome is the savanna. Savannas can be found in Africa, South America, Australia, and parts of Asia, with the largest areas of savanna being located in Africa.
Some commonly found plants acacia trees, Rhodes grass, and some shrubs. Some animals that typically live in the savanna are elephants, zebras, and giraffes.
The savanna is generally pretty dry, and has a very flat grassland landscape. Also, there are constantly droughts that happen, so animals need to be on the move following the rain, which the elephant does with its strong legs. There are many animals in the savanna, so animals need to fight for food. But the giraffe, with its long neck, can reach the tops of trees, like no other animal can. These adaptations help organisms survive the climate of the savanna.
